Scott Kimak is a writer, history teacher, and Kung Fu master. He lives in Harlingen, Texas with the love of his life Diana and their four children. A practicing hypnotist and behavioral analyst for the past two decades, Scott is now retired and devoted to writing full time. While his interest in writing began at 13 years old, he published his first book in 2011 and has since published four more in the genres in dark fiction, fantasy, metaphysical and paranormal, and psychology.
On this episode of the DIY Writer podcast, I have a chat with Scott about a book he began writing when he was young but didn't publish until July 2020. We had a very interesting conversation about his process in creating the book along with the effects of the pandemic on both his teaching and martial arts gym.
A few things we discuss in this episode:
It’s never too late to publish your book.
When all else fails, write something.
Always follow your dreams.
